Titanium Grade 2 is one of the most commonly applied grades of titanium having an a moderate strength but having the advantage of being easily welded and cold formed. It is the most popular grade for use in industrial settings also having high resistance to reducing or oxidising media. Grade 2 titanium is NACE approved for use in sour conditions (NACE MR0175).
