AISI 316l Polished Stainless Steel Pipe Austenitic
AISI 316L polished stainless steel pipe austenitic is very similar to 304 and 304L stainless steel. The only difference is that molybdenum has been added to AISI 316L stainless steel. Due to the addition of molybdenum, AISI 316L stainless steel is resistant to corrosion. In chloride environs, AISI 316L stainless steel displays very good resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting. In boiling phosphoric acid (20%), AISI 316L performs very well. AISI 316L stainless steel is used in many applications and in many industries like petroleum refining, pulp and paper, marine, pharmaceutical processing, pressure vessels, food and beverage processing, heat exchangers, textiles, medical, power generation, water treatment, piping systems, etc.
