ASTM B425 Bar has a chemical composition that has been designed to resist various kinds of highly corrosive environs. It offers resistance that is very akin to alloy 800, but it shows even more resistance to aqueous corrosion. Incoloy 825 Round Bar offers superb resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion and also to oxidizing and reducing acids. Because of these properties, ASTM B425 Bars are used in various applications such as subservice safety valves, gas turbines, mandrels, industrial fasteners, tubing materials, aircraft engines, thrust reversers, etc.
Incoloy 825 Round Bar is an alloy that contains nickel-chromium and to this has been added in small portions, iron, aluminum, titanium, molybdenum and columbium. Round bars of Incoloy 825 display very good resistance to corrosion, they are heat treatable, they have superb weldability, they show excellent strength and they also display very good formability. Incoloy 825 Equivalent Grades are JIS NCF 825, OR XH38BT, WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4858, GOST ЭП703, BS NA 16, AFNOR NFE30C20DUM, UNS N08825 and EN NiCr21Mo. Incoloy 825 has an Elongation of 30% and a Melting Point of 2550 °F (1400 °C). The Density of Incoloy 825 is 8.14 g/cm3. Incoloy 825 has a Tensile Strength of 80,000 Psi 550 (MPa) and a Yield Strength of 32,000 Psi (220 MPa).

ASTM B425 specification covers nickel-iron-chromiummolybdenum-copper alloy (UNS N08825 and UNS N08221) in the form of hot-finished and cold-drawn rounds, squares, hexagons, and rectangles. ASTM B425 material shall conform to the composition limits specified. ASTM B425 material shall conform to the mechanical properties specified. Chemical analysis, tension test, and rounding procedure shall be made in accordance to the specified requirements.

1.1 ASTM B425 specification covers nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy (UNS N08825, UNS N08221, and UNS N06845)3 in the form of hot-finished and cold-drawn rounds, squares, hexagons, and rectangles.
